In recent years, as China’s efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions have intensified, the domestic supply of industrial-grade and food-grade CO₂ has grown year by year. However, high-purity electronic-grade CO₂—which meets stricter specifications and offers higher value—remains largely dependent on imports. To address this, our company has focused its efforts on developing proprietary technology and equipment for the production of high-purity electronic-grade CO₂.

  Following multiple rounds of technical exchanges and negotiations, Zhisheng Chemical Co., Ltd. and our company successfully signed an agreement in late November 2015 to jointly construct a 1,300-ton-per-year electronic-grade high-purity CO₂ project, which has officially commenced. This collaboration fully leverages both parties’ respective technical and resource strengths, effectively driving the transformation and upgrading of CO₂ products and generating greater benefits.

  Under the cooperation agreement, Zhisheng Chemical is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and production operations management of the facility; our company is responsible for the technical plan, engineering design, equipment supply, technical guidance, and personnel training. The project has a planned investment of 10 million yuan and is scheduled to commence production in early April 2016.

  The electronic-grade high-purity CO₂ developed in this project complies with all specifications of Showa Denko’s high-purity CO₂ standards, with a product purity of over 99.999%. It is primarily used in the laser and electronics industries, as a reactor gas coolant, and for scientific research.
