The Shenghong Petrochemical Industrial Park is an innovative, eco-friendly petrochemical industrial cluster developed by Shenghong Holding Group. Located in the National Demonstration Zone for East-Central-West Regional Cooperation (Xuwe New District, Lianyungang), the park covers a planned area of approximately 15 square kilometers. It integrates production, R&D, and logistics support, and is committed to the integrated development of refining and petrochemicals as well as the balanced growth of the entire high-end petrochemical industry chain. It stands as a highly competitive flagship brand among China’s seven world-class petrochemical industrial bases.

This project utilizes carbon dioxide tail gas—a byproduct of the No. 1 and No. 2 ethylene glycol units in the Shenghong Integrated Project—as its primary feedstock. Our company provided the process package design, employing a combined catalytic oxidation and shallow-cold distillation process to ensure that the quality of the carbon dioxide product exceeds all indicators of food-grade products. The unit incorporates our company’s patents, proprietary equipment, and specialized catalysts. The project commenced full-scale production in August 2024.
