This project involves a skid-mounted unit that utilizes the backflow gas from mixed oil produced at the wellhead following CO₂ fracturing to produce liquid CO₂ for oil displacement applications. Based on gas data analysis and target product specifications, the unit comprises processes such as separation, drying, residual heat recovery, and liquefaction and purification to produce CO₂ that meets quality requirements. The production process operates under a closed-loop system, making this a safe and environmentally friendly skid-mounted unit that complies with the company’s relevant unified regulations. Furthermore, as a mobile skid-mounted unit, it significantly reduces the costs associated with CO₂ gas wells, yielding substantial economic and social benefits while upholding the company’s commitment to conservation, environmental protection, and resource recycling.
The photos below show the CO₂ venting project during shipment and on-site testing. Our company dispatched technical personnel to the site to provide guidance on connecting external pipelines, conduct pre-commissioning training, perform integrated commissioning of the unit with the配套chiller unit, and commission the unit’s drying system, ensuring that all performance indicators of the CO₂ venting project met design requirements. This project involves the on-site separation and subsequent recycling of oil produced through CO₂ enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in our company’s oilfields. It has significantly reduced EOR costs and achieved notable energy savings and reduced consumption, thereby contributing to China’s EOR industry.
