  Shaanxi Chenghua Co., Ltd. has closely monitored market trends in the methanol sector and continuously implemented a strategy of technological innovation. By upgrading traditional production equipment with new technologies and processes, the company has steadily expanded its production capacity and achieved significant economic benefits.

  Shaanxi Chenghua’s original methanol synthesis system was not optimally configured, with high internal tower resistance. This resulted in the methanol production process operating in a metastable state, making it difficult to increase output and preventing the facility from reaching its intended design capacity, while also incurring high production and maintenance costs. Following technical exchanges and discussions between Chenghua’s leadership and technical staff and our company, a technical cooperation agreement was established. Our company was tasked with providing the technology for the methanol production unit retrofit, utilizing our proprietary process technology and energy-efficient, low-pressure-drop methanol synthesis tower internals. After the retrofit, the internal tower pressure drop was reduced to just 0.3–0.4 MPa, system resistance decreased significantly, and methanol output increased markedly, fully achieving the expected results. Building on the success of the initial retrofit, Chenghua Company, anticipating a new round of favorable market conditions for methanol, continued to expand its methanol production capacity and once again selected our company’s methanol synthesis tower internals. After a period of operation, the unit has been running stably and has achieved the expected goals.
