At 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2013, the Shangcheng District Science and Technology Innovation Conference was grandly held in the District Government Auditorium. City leaders and relevant officials from the district’s four leading bodies attended the conference. The primary objective of this conference was to implement the guiding principles of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the National Science and Technology Innovation Conference, and the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s study sessions on advancing science and technology innovation. Guided by the Scientific Outlook on Development, the conference focused on researching and planning the construction of an innovative urban district. The conference called on the entire district to focus closely on the goal of building an “innovative district,” pooling innovation resources, improving the innovation system, fostering innovation entities, and stimulating innovative vitality. By relying on scientific and technological progress to lead and support sustainable economic and social development, the district aims to become an “Eastern Quality Experience Zone” and a “Model Zone of Happiness and Harmony.”

  At the meeting, a new “1+3” science and technology innovation policy package was introduced, and organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to science and technology (and science popularization) in recent years were recognized. Our company was honored to receive the “Science and Technology Progress Award” and the “Outstanding Patent Award,” among other accolades. These honors are the result of our company’s commitment to scientific and technological innovation and the protection of our intellectual property rights, and they fully affirm our continuously improving capacity for independent innovation. Moving forward, we will continue to strive for excellence with a pragmatic, innovative, and forward-looking work ethic, aiming for greater progress and making even greater contributions to energy conservation, emissions reduction, and environmental protection.
