Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is a new-generation integrated coal chemical enterprise engaged in multi-product manufacturing.   Hualu Hengsheng Dezhou Detian Chemical Co., Ltd. utilizes carbon dioxide tail gas generated from methanol washing to construct a 100kt/a high-quality food-grade carbon dioxide project. Following extensive evaluation, comparison, and a bidding process, the company ultimately decided to adopt the internationally certified food-grade liquid carbon dioxide production technology and patented equipment independently developed by Hangzhou Kuai Kai. Hangzhou Kuai Kai was tasked with determining the design plan based on the composition of the carbon dioxide tail gas from the methanol washing process, as well as providing engineering design, supply of patented equipment, commissioning, and other technical services. The project has entered an intensive phase of engineering design and equipment procurement and fabrication for various process sections, with completion and commissioning scheduled for the end of July 2013.
