Release Date:2013-09-18

Founded in 1958, Anhui Huahua Group Co., Ltd. is the largest coal chemical enterprise in Anhui Province, controlled by the North Anhui Coal and Electricity Group. It is a founding member and council unit of the China New Generation Coal Chemical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, which was established at the initiative of six national ministries and commissions. The company currently produces more than 20 products across four major series: synthetic ammonia and ammonia processing, methanol and alcohol processing, concentrated nitric acid and nitrates, and fine chemicals. Its leading products include concentrated nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, urea, DMF, and food-grade carbon dioxide. Among these, concentrated nitric acid holds a domestic market share of over 20%, and the company has maintained the top position in both production and sales nationwide for many consecutive years.

Anhui Huahua Group Co., Ltd. previously operated a 30kt/a food-grade carbon dioxide plant constructed and commissioned by a Sichuan-based entity. However, as the product quality failed to meet food-grade standards, Huahua decided in 2012 to rebuild a 100kt/a high-quality food-grade carbon dioxide purification plant compliant with international standards. After the company’s leadership and technical staff conducted a comparative review of domestic CO₂ project technology providers and their existing operational facilities, they ultimately selected our company’s international-standard food-grade CO₂ production technology. Our company is responsible for the project’s engineering design, as well as the supply of proprietary equipment, catalysts, desulfurization agents, and technical services such as commissioning. Currently, pre-commissioning preparations, including equipment installation, have been completed, and the facility is expected to begin commissioning and production in early May!
