Congratulations to Anhui Huahua Co., Ltd. on the commissioning and successful acceptance of its 100kt/a food-grade CO₂ plant.
2014-01-15
As Anhui Huahua Co., Ltd. continues to expand its product portfolio, its carbon dioxide emissions have gradually increased. Consequently, the company has decided to construct a new large-scale carbon dioxide recovery facility to supplement its existing infrastructure. Furthermore, the existing 30kt/a food-grade carbon dioxide facility fails to meet food-grade quality standards and cannot satisfy market demand. To meet market demand and achieve energy conservation, emissions reduction, and a circular economy, the Group and the Company decided to construct a new 100kt/a high-quality food-grade carbon dioxide plant. After on-site visits, inspections, and comparisons by Huaihua’s management and technical staff, it was ultimately decided to adopt the new food-grade carbon dioxide production technology developed by our company—which meets international quality standards—along with our patented equipment and desulfurization agents. Our company was responsible for the engineering design, supply, and commissioning. After several months of effort, the plant began feedstock introduction and commissioning on February 25, 2013. Through the joint efforts and cooperation of our technical personnel, the plant achieved successful first-time startup. The product quality exceeds the requirements of the national standard for food-grade carbon dioxide (GB10621-2006) as well as the standards set by Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, and the plant has obtained the “Food-Grade Liquid Carbon Dioxide Production License.”
